Alizée appears in this years “Les Enfoirés” concerts, this time held in Paris.
9th March 2009
The rearranged Alizée concert at the Grand Rex in Paris on 28th March is cancelled. That evening Alizée posts a note on her Myspace. “Hello Lilly Town people,
I was delighted to be seeing you at the Grand Rex the 28th of March. Unfortunately, to my great regret, I must cancel. The reason is simple: I am splitting with my French tour manager. I understand that this explaination, a bit technical, will not satisfy you, but I'm afraid there is no other.
I am not going to hide it from you: I am very disappointed. I could not do this concert in Paris for Psychédélices, and it is really not for lack of wanting to. I had much desire to see you!
For the last few weeks I have been working on my new album, which looks different from anything I've been able to do so far. I can't wait to present it to you, such haste I have that I would like, starting today, to announce to you that we will meet before summer for a special concert. You and me, eye to eye.

Alizée performs at the “La Feria de San Marcos” in Aguascalientes where she does a showcase of 10 songs. The Alizée community are concerned after reports stated that she was crying throughout (in fact she had to leave temporarily after the 3rd song), however her tears are explained by the fact that she left her usual make up artist in France, and the local make up artist used make up that Alizée eyes reacted badly to.

After months of silence and fans speculation about Alizée’s new album being released, her Official website changes to a white background with a black and white picture of Alizée in the centre. Her Myspace site and her Facebook page also change. At the same time a website Unenfantdusiecle.com goes live which shows several mysterious video’s of Alizée in the studios.

There is a slight change to the official site, in addition to the black and white picture, the website inform’s us that her new album is called “Une Enfant du siecle”.
23rd December 2009
Alizée takes part in the Christmas song “It's Christmas (And It Won't Be The Last)”, with Tahiti Boy & The Palmtree Family, where she sings a small vocal.
